About The Position

The Real Estate Manager - Non-Attributable Portfolio will support projects, to include construction, design/build, architecture and engineering, space management, facilities management, real estate, and leasing of complex and time sensitive construction projects. This position will interact with client leadership, and internal stakeholders, in support of Project Managers, Analyst and other consultants to maximize the program’s effectiveness and ensuring the projects meet the customers intent and within the limits of the organization. Additionally, the REM will oversee all aspects of a single property or portfolio of commercial, industrial or retail properties and all associated operations and financial activities.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • High school diploma or GED
  • TEN (10) years of experience in a construction, architecture, engineering, or other related field; Bachelor's degree in relevant field may be substituted for FOUR (4) years of experience; Master's degree in relevant field may be substituted for SIX (6) years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with clients to identify and refine requirements.
  • Works with the client to develop annual budgets for operating and capital expenses.
  • Provides oversight, and manages responsibility for the timeliness, completeness, and quality of multiple construction projects.
  • Oversees all aspects of a project, including tracking budgets, metrics and updating logs, leads meetings, ensuring user needs and schedules are met.
  • Performs project tracking, adopts project management best practices, promotes customer involvement, applies lessons learned from recent projects, enforces effective change control, developing contingency planning and providing recommended solutions, exemplifies project management development and manages project priorities.
  • Manages capital planning for a portfolio of leases by responding to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly.
  • Recommends alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning as necessary.
  • Coordinates tenant move-ins and move-outs, and "walk-through" spaces with tenants.
