About The Position

The WORLD Internship Program is a 10‑week program aimed at developing a bench of talented professionals who will be able to join us after college graduation. As a Summer Intern, you will support World Insurance’s real estate and facilities operations, gaining exposure to corporate property management, lease administration, office build‑outs, and strategic real estate initiatives. This role provides hands‑on experience and insight into how real estate supports a growing organization. You will be placed in our Real Estate team during this time.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a business program at an accredited university or college and graduating in May 2027 or December 2026. (Graduates and students enrolled in Insurance and Risk Management, Real Estate, Business Admin, Finance and Marketing programs strongly preferred)
  • Must be willing to work onsite, M-F between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (we do not offer remote internships)
  • Possess strong organization / administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members. Self-motivated and driven.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior customer support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support property and lease management activities for World Insurance Associates across multiple office locations.
  • Assist with reviewing and interpreting commercial leases.
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to help prepare and deliver required real estate documentation and reporting.
  • Support office build‑out projects, including site planning, coordination, and documentation. Must be comfortable with occasional travel to different office locations.
  • Learn how mergers and acquisitions (M&A) impact real estate strategy, lease negotiations, and portfolio growth.
  • Gain exposure to the day‑to-day operations and strategic objectives of a corporate real estate team.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, and AI‑enabled platforms to support reporting, analysis, and process improvements.
