About The Position

Tonti Properties is a renowned real estate company founded in 1960 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas. With a strong focus on design-oriented developments, the company specializes in the acquisition, management, and ownership of multi-family apartment communities and retail centers in the Sunbelt region of the US. Tonti Properties is currently seeking a talented and motivated intern to join the Real Estate Design team. As a Real Estate Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development process of various projects, working alongside experienced professionals within the company.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office
Strong conceptual and visualization skills with an eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
Demonstrated interest in real estate and design through coursework or previous experience
Portfolio showcasing design and visualization skills

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and functional design concepts for real estate projects
Assist in drafting architectural plans and producing detailed drawings
Research current market trends and design influences
Assist in conceptualizing and visualizing project ideas through 3D modeling and rendering
Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and fixtures
Contribute to the preparation of design presentations
Assist with furniture and accessory installations
Ability to present design ideas to senior leadership
