Provides land preservation and real estate transaction expertise for the acquisition and permanent protection of greenways, nature preserves, natural heritage sites, and other significant natural areas in accordance with the County’s open space needs and comprehensive master plans. This position is responsible for developing and managing open space plans, evaluating and prioritizing open space and greenway acquisitions, negotiating and monitoring the conservation of easements on environmentally sensitive lands, managing Stewardship Special Revenue Fund(s), and establishing and monitoring farm lease agreements.
