Zions Bank has an opportunity for a Real Estate Commercial Loan Officer to finance Homebuilder companies, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves generating and servicing a wide variety of Real Estate Commercial loans to Homebuilder companies, aggressively seeking new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross-selling efforts. The officer will represent the Bank in the community for business development, interview clients for loan needs, monitor credit performance, and build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 1+ years credit associated lending or 3 years related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualification
  • Ability to develop and service new customers
  • Good analytical, credit analysis and loan structuring skills
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interview clients
  • Must have perceptive character judgment
  • Working knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of commercial real estate and/or construction lending helpful
  • Familiarity of the sales and closing process helpful

Responsibilities

  • Generating and servicing a wide variety of Real Estate Commercial loans to Homebuilder companies
  • Aggressively seeking and obtaining quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross selling efforts
  • Representing the Bank in the community and respective marketing areas for the development and growth of new loan business
  • Interviewing clients for various loan needs
  • Monitoring credit performance and taking necessary actions as needed
  • Building and maintaining relationships, with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction
