About The Position

A day in the life You start with a thorough pre‑trip inspection—tires, lights, fluids, drum—and confirm your route with dispatch. You navigate to active construction sites, position the mixer safely, verify mix consistency during transit, and deliver the load with care around obstacles and crews. Between loads, you rinse and clean the drum and tools, complete delivery tickets, and communicate updates to customers and coworkers. Before heading home, you handle a post‑trip check and report any maintenance needs. Core duties Operate a ready‑mix concrete mixer truck safely to and from customer job sites. Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; promptly report maintenance items. Handle routine upkeep: fueling, checking fluids, tires, and lighting. Clean the mixer drum, chutes, and related equipment between deliveries. Monitor mix consistency and slump during transport. Complete accurate delivery documentation and return signed tickets. Communicate clearly with dispatch, teammates, and customers. Navigate construction sites with sound judgment around obstacles and personnel. Maintain a professional, courteous presence on every job.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record and current DOT qualification.
  • At least 1 year of mixer or commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Required construction background: experience on active job sites, knowledge of site safety, and confidence operating on rough terrain.
  • Ability to climb, lift chutes, and use tools for cleaning and basic maintenance.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong commitment to safety, DOT regulations, and company policies.

  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
  • Current CDL License
