About The Position

As a Reading Tutor at Maharishi School, you will provide personalized one-on-one instruction to students who require remedial support in reading, helping them improve their skills and confidence outside regular school hours. The Reading Tutor position supports the school's mission to provide quality education by addressing students' individual learning needs. Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and effective reading instruction to students in grades 3 through 12, customizing teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality while engaging with students, parents, teachers, and division directors through clear and effective communication.
• Utilize strong reading skills to conduct engaging tutoring sessions that foster comprehension and skill development.
• Employ a simplified and systematic approach to teaching reading concepts, ensuring students with remedial needs can grasp foundational skills effectively.
