About The Position

Temporary hourly-intermittent federal work study position for the Reading Enrichment Program in Financial Aid. Start Date Position available on or after February 18, 2026 and ending on or before May 22, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

Requirements

• Valid California Driver's License.
• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrates enrollment in English, Liberal Studies, Child Development, or Communications program.
• Interested in teaching others to read, serving the community, working with children.

Responsibilities

• Help Turlock School District students (K-6 grade aged children) to improve reading skills through one-on-one or small group instruction, focusing on comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary development.
• Other duties as assigned.
