Scope of Position: This highly motivated individual, as part of the Technical Development and Testing Team, will be responsible for the daily operation of the media processing reactor for water quality. This would include handling chemicals for the batch process operations. This position reports to Engineering Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • 1 years’ experience working in a chemical process operations environment preferred
  • Must be able to always wear required PPE.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including [insert checks], and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

  • Able to operate a forklift and an overhead crane.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of chemical processing equipment and physical material handling/processing equipment
  • Utilizes operations knowledge and experience to proactively operate the plant in a safe, reliable, and optimal manner
  • Proper monitoring of equipment and record keeping
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed from start up to shut down
  • Sift, weigh and package media according to Work Orders demand
  • Working safely and maintaining the work area in safe condition.
  • Performing regular safety inspections.
  • Perform standard planned maintenance
  • Maintain appropriate shift paperwork.
  • Work with engineers, production specialists, quality assurance technicians, distribution technicians, as well as other plant personnel to safely and efficiently accomplish plant responsibilities.
