About The Position

We are looking for an experienced React Native Lead Developer to join our cutting-edge development team. This role focuses on web and mobile front-end development, while collaborating with backend developers, business analysts, designers, DevOps engineers, and business partners to deliver innovative solutions. This is an onsite role in Atlanta, GA.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of React Native experience.
  • Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Expertise in mobile-responsive and mobile-first coding practices.
  • Familiarity with Node, CocoaPods, and Docker.
  • Ability to execute RESTful API integrations.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, GitHub, and best UI practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor developers.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance development and support activities with a disciplined, quality-focused approach.
  • Must be able to work 3 days onsite
  • Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutionsorapplications.
  • Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.
  • Heorshe is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.
  • Hisorher work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
  • The software engineer builds skills and expertise of hisorher software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.
  • The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with WCAG Accessibility guidelines (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Google Firebase, iOS certificates/profiles (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead product development efforts including architecture/design, coding, technical reviews, and mentoring onsite/offsite teams.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to implement web services and integrations.
  • Support the full SDLC process, including deployments and production releases.
  • Maintain current knowledge of IT development methodologies, design principles, and technical standards.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, providing realistic estimates and identifying risks.
  • Prepare project documentation and presentations using tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Provide off-hours production support when required.
