About The Position

Akkodis is seeking a React Developer for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. Candidates must have strong expertise in React, Redux, TypeScript, and modern front-end technologies to deliver high-quality, responsive interfaces. Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in front-end development with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Strong proficiency in React, Redux, React Hooks, TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
Proven ability to build scalable micro-frontend applications, optimize performance, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain micro-frontend applications and integrate them with main app containers using Webpack Module Federation.
Build and extend reusable UI components and front-end frameworks, ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement gathering, review documentation, and prepare test plans for production rollout.
Conduct code reviews and implement quality improvement processes, adhering to best practices and performance optimization standards.
Provide technical support for pre-production and production releases, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth deployments.
Work closely with offshore/onsite teams, guiding them on technical challenges and ensuring timely delivery of tasks and bug fixes.
