About The Position

The Reablement Assistant facilitates an innovative cognitive and physical restoration program at Kemper House Strongsville. The ideal candidate engages clientele in a positive and upbeat manner and contributes to a curriculum that is designed to improve cognitive abilities as well as overall health and performance of older adults, helping them live more independently. Days and hours vary by location, and a weekend rotation may be required.

Requirements

  • Teaching/Training/Coaching experience
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to be adaptive and creative
  • Sense of humor and ability to bring enjoyment to the group while instructing

Nice To Haves

  • Brain Health / Neuroscience experience
