Andersen is looking for an accomplished, driven, and collaborative Product Data Analyst on our Research, Development and Innovation team to develop data flow and digital solutions within a cross functional product development team. There has never been a more exciting time to work in research and development at Andersen. This Data Analyst will be an integral member of the Product Design Data Management team. The purpose of this role is to develop data strategies for new product and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or data science
  • Experience working on cross-functional engineering teams
  • Experience partnering with and translating between engineering and IT teams
  • Strong aptitude for process improvement, problem solving, data analysis & visualization, technical execution, and project management
  • Experience working with ERPs and MES
  • 5-15 years engineering or technical experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced knowledge of lean, manufacturing, design, and quality systems
  • Experience as a design or project lead on a cross-functional engineering team
  • Experience with BAAN and LN ERP and Rockwell MES

Responsibilities

  • Provides ownership of enterprise glass rules management. Also acting as SME for enterprise glass data.
  • Provides consultation to company or business partners on resolution of critical complex business problems, defining business processes and researching/identifying customer requirements, best practices and enabling technology.
  • Partners with Information Technology to ensure Product Data Architectures meet design intent.
  • Translates program / project data requirements into conceptual data solutions, collaborate on target solutions, and executes data engineering work.
  • Shows independent creativity and initiative for business and organizational contributions.
  • Drives discussions and decisions on overall project objectives with managers and other functional leaders.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead activities on technically challenging assignments
  • Develop multiple concepts related to meeting customer needs
  • Collect, analyze, and display data to drive product development decisions
  • Evaluate and recommend engineering and data solutions
  • Create and present reports summarizing technical analysis and business viability to varied audiences
  • Maintain primary technical communication responsibility, lead tactical discussions, and effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external customers and staff.
