About The Position

Help guests take home Yellowstone memories! Yellowstone Retail is looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate employees to provide unforgettable guest service to our visitors in our retail shops. We operate and maintain eleven retail outlets throughout the park. We don't sell souvenirs, we sell memories! Job Summary: This role involves efficiently managing guest orders by completing paperwork, packing items according to guidelines, and ordering supplies as needed. Excellent guest service is essential, requiring professional communication and collaboration with management regarding any workplace issues. Additionally, the role may include various tasks in the Retail Distribution Center, adherence to environmental standards, and maintaining a safe work environment

Requirements

Must be able to communicate professionally and with courtesy
Have accurate and moderately fast computer skills
Have basic accounting and filing skills
Have ability to accept direction and work cooperatively with other department personnel and to function with other Xanterra Departments, as needed
Able to stand/walk for a minimum eight-hour shift
Frequently lift and move cartons weighing up to 50 pounds
Carry boxes/product up and down stairs at most locations several times a day
Maintain proper ergonomics when working at a desk/workstation during an eight-hour shift

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of Word and Excel computer programs preferred
Understand overall inventory control procedures; assist with inventory files, as needed

Responsibilities

Complete all paperwork and computer processes for guest orders promptly, ensuring accurate and efficient order processing
Pack guest orders according to established guidelines and regulations to maintain quality and safety standards
Order necessary products and supplies to fulfill guest orders effectively
Deliver outstanding customer service by following Xanterra's hospitality standards, ensuring all communications are professional, courteous, and timely
Maintain open communication with the Retail Assistant Distribution Center Manager and Assistant Director of Retail regarding any workplace issues or job-related concerns
Assist with various tasks in the Retail Distribution Center, including processing merchandise, cleaning, loading/unloading trucks, and completing pick tickets as needed
Adhere to Xanterra's Environmental Management Systems and actively seek ways to enhance the environmental impact of your role
Ensure a safe working environment by complying with safety requirements while also performing office duties and special projects as assigned
