Requirements
- At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
- Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
- Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
Nice To Haves
- Patient registration or scheduling
- Working in a patient facing medical office
- Familiarity with medical insurance processes
- Experience supporting individuals in a healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, attentive check-in and registration support
- Verify insurance eligibility and make corrections when needed
- Schedule clinic and radiology appointments with accuracy
- Collaborate closely with clinical teams daily to ensure smooth patient flow
- Escort or transport patients (including wheelchair assistance) between clinical areas.
- Walking reasonable distances is required
