Tradesperson 1 - Salary Range $42,972.80
Mastertradesperson 2 - Salary Range $47,777.60
Mastertradesperson 3 - Salary Range $54,412.80
Mastertreadesperson 4 - Salary Range $64,084.80
Tech Subject Matter Expert - Salary Range $65,852.80

Requirements

• Tradesperson 1 - High School education and 1 year of related experience, or Trade School or equivalent. Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.
• Mastertradesperson 2- High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, and 2 years of related experience. Prefer technical/professional certifications. Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.
• Mastertradesperson 3- High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, and 4 years of related experience. Prefer technical/professional certifications. Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.
• Mastertreadesperson 4 - High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, and 6 years of related experience. Prefer technical/professional certifications. Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.
• Tech Subject Matter Expert - High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, and 8 years of related experience, to include specific systems expertise. Prefer technical/professional certifications. Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.
• Candidates must be able to read and use precision tools.
• Candidates must be able to follow safety procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD confidential security clearance and maintain clearance level throughout employment.
• Candidates must be able to obtain base access credentials within 60 days of start date and maintain credentials throughout employment.
• Candidates must be able to provide hand tools per trade designation.
• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates who have graduated from and/or completed a vocational school, apprenticeship program or a skilled trades certificate program are preferred.
• Candidates with a current or active DoD clearance preferred.
• OSHA 10 Maritime Certification
• NAVSEA Cableway Improvement certification
• Muli-Pin Connector experience
• Knowledge of Navy Tag Out program, NSTM 300, and 3M manual

Responsibilities

• Support trades team by working on active class surface ships to assist with alterations and installations for fleet modernization.
• Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on shipboard systems, integrated systems, and related equipment/software onboard Aircraft Carriers.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time.
• Learn and apply production processes toward completion of assignments.
• Perform duties outside of specialty to complete installation or work assignment.
