About The Position

Skillforce is currently hiring a licensed Journeyman Electrician for a short-term commercial project in Longmont, CO. This project involves converting existing lighting to LED fixtures in an older school facility. The ideal candidate is experienced in commercial electrical work, efficient, and able to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Active Colorado Journeyman Electrician license (required)
• Prior commercial electrical experience
• Experience with lighting upgrades or LED conversions preferred
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Nice To Haves

• Experience with lighting upgrades or LED conversions preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform LED lighting retrofits and fixture replacements
• Remove existing lighting and install new LED fixtures
• Ensure all work complies with local and state electrical codes
• Safely use hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members
