The Product Development and Packaging Department is looking for individuals to support the circuit card design process turning designs into robust and reliable reality. Individuals will interface with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop high quality producible designs. Team members will be exposed to all phases of the circuit card lifecycle from development through production and will present their findings through program design reviews. What You Will Do We are looking for aspiring Electrical Engineers to support Component Engineering activities ensuring cost effective and robust parts are used to ensure successful products, by selecting, specifying, and determining application adherence for electrical components. Individuals will interface with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop: Component risk and verification data packages that will support component selections and provide justification to program customers. Component Engineers will identify parts to be included on the preferred parts list, drive usage of these standardized parts, provide recommendations to mitigate obsolescence issues, and identify solutions to meet customer component requirements. Team members will be exposed to all phases of the circuit card lifecycle from development through production and will occasionally present their findings through program design reviews.
