We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering student to join our Airborne Sensor RF Design Mechanical Engineering team in McKinney, Texas. As an Engineering intern the responsibilities may include any aspects of the mechanical design process from concept generation to model / drawing completion to supporting product builds and test. You will work closely with product engineers from multiple disciplines to ensure support for program and factory requirements. Our multi-disciplined team consists of high-engaged members with a variety of backgrounds and experience levels with support, growth opportunities, and recognizing contributions. We are specifically seeking candidates who are inquisitive, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, proactive, take ownership of work, communicate well with others, and enjoy solving unique problems every day. This position is an Onsite role, where you will be working primarily in McKinney, Texas during Summer 2026.

Requirements

  • This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Junior or Senior year by the start of summer 2026
  • Must be pursuing as Bachelors or graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling, preferably CREO
  • Major in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field
  • Completion of at least 1 internship and/or multi-month technical project in a related field
  • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and/or tolerance analysis
