About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Raw Materials Supervisor to support plant operations through end-to-end ownership of raw material ordering, inventory management, and concentrate coordination. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted material supply while maintaining inventory accuracy, compliance, quality standards, and cost discipline. The Raw Materials Coordinator serves as the single point of accountability for raw material availability, supporting daily production execution and long-term production plans.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles (FIFO, cycle counts, reconciliation).
  • Experience in manufacturing, food & beverage, or plant operations preferred.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with production, planning, quality, and warehouse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own ordering, purchasing, and inventory management of all raw materials required for manufacturing, including concentrate and concentrate components.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for raw material availability to support production plans and daily operations.
  • Ensure uninterrupted material supply while balancing inventory health, cost efficiency, and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage raw material inventory levels to optimize inventory turns and support production needs.
  • Conduct regular physical inventories, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure system accuracy.
  • Enforce and audit FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices across all raw materials.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to waste, obsolescence, and aging materials.
  • Lead or support root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies, losses, or expirations.
  • Own concentrate ordering and associated systems processes.
  • Ensure accurate system transactions and maintain data integrity for raw materials and concentrate management.
  • Partner with Planning, Quality, and Performance teams to meet compliance and reporting requirements related to concentrate handling.
  • Actively participate in production, planning, and scheduling meetings.
  • Align material and concentrate availability with manufacturing plans.
  • Communicate material constraints and proactively support mitigation planning.
  • Partner with Food Safety and Quality teams to address quality issues, holds, and non-conformances.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and traceability of materials in collaboration with the Warehouse team.
