Weyerhaeuser has an exciting opportunity for a Raw Materials Summer Intern, located in Zwolle, LA. The Raw Materials team is responsible for the procurement of raw materials from multiple sources according to mill production requirements to support our manufacturing teams and overall business strategies. As an intern, you will gain experience in timber contract pricing, working through complex issues, job site management, and contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Completed at least 1 year of college in forestry or a related field of study
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Capacity to work both independently and as a team player adhering to all the safety expectations
• Have an interest in hands on work in an outdoor environment
• Demonstrable skills in computer applications as they relate to the discipline
• Ability to relate, understand and implement the applicable regulatory laws into the assignment
• Willing to travel periodically to other locations within the southeast, often in rural areas
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checks
