About The Position

PRIMARY SUMMARY: Ability to manually move material, supplies and finished goods to designated areas in the facility or onto delivery trucks by hand or by forklift. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Delivers and retrieves wire and equipment from the raw materials storage to shop floor and/or moves production parts to various operations. Performs stocking and re-stocking, ensuring that all product and materials have accurate weight and/or piece count. Prepares pallets, loads and unloads raw material and finished product onto trucks, vans or automobiles for deliveries. Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers. Verifies that all product and materials have accurate and appropriate identification tags, documentation and/or paperwork. Reports any mechanical problems encountered with forklifts and powered lifts. Performs cycle counting. Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit. Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations. Follow all 5S department procedures which include but are not limited to; keeping floors clean of oil and debris, returning tools to proper locations, organize part pans, and performs other housekeeping duties. Attends all required job related training (internal and external). All employees are responsible for complying with the rules and regulations set forth by Federal, Local, and State government, LISI Aerospace, and HSE Procedures. All employees are responsible for attending all training provided and for adhering to all HSE procedures, policies, and plans, conforming to reporting requirements, and safe operating procedures at all times. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, licenses, registrations Must provide proof of valid lift truck certifications. Evidence of “US person” is required under ITAR. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
