About The Position

The Material Handler will provide shipping and warehousing expertise to support in all areas of the Switchboard Team including, but not limited to, assembly, order picking, shipping and receiving parts. Exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. Perform quality checks as instructed. Receive and process material kitting orders promptly to execute production schedules Complete inventory transactions and ensure accuracy Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment safely and competently. Receive and process incoming raw materials and ensure the inventory process is followed correctly Prepare finished products for final shipment including packaging, documentation, and loading, and ensure on-time delivery Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), order pickers, automatic pallet wrappers and pallet jack Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment. Minimum of one year of forklift operation experience (sit-down/standup). No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Two or more years of warehouse experience in an industrial environment. Two years or more of forklift operation experience (sit-down/standup). Ability to squat and reach above the head with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to physically operate a forklift with or without reasonable accommodation.
