Position Summary Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules. Compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years work experience
  • High School Diploma

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA Safety Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receives incoming materials and verifies the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders or delivery documentation.
  • Inspects materials for quality, damage, or any discrepancies, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Stores and organizes materials in designated storage areas or shelves, ensuring accessibility and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Packages materials appropriately, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Maintains accurate records of all materials received, stored, and distributed, updating inventory systems or logs as needed.
  • Collects requested materials from storage areas and prepares them for distribution or use as per specified requests.
  • Assists in inventory counts or audits to ensure stock accuracy and identify any discrepancies or shortages.
  • Communicates with internal teams or departments to coordinate material needs, delivery schedules, or any issues related to materials.
  • Adheres to established procedures, guidelines, and safety protocols for handling and storing materials to ensure compliance and workplace safety.
