About The Position

The chef team focuses on simplicity and classic approach to this Jersey shore seafood eatery.

Requirements

  • at least 1-2 years in high volume Shucking and Food Preparation
  • basic food and safety knowledge
  • Customer Service background (Not required but preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Set up an assigned station to prepare for service.
  • Maintains cleanliness and mise en place of station throughout service.
  • Responsible for proper preparation of food items on assigned station(s).
  • Responsible for identifying items prepared for guests with allergies and dietary restrictions.
  • Works as a team with other Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Dishwashers and FOH & BOH Management teams.
  • Notifies Chefs of any lags on items from assigned station(s).
  • Creates memorable experiences to build repeat business.
