The Rapid Transit Intern will support the Rapid Transit/Pulse through communication and outreach to stakeholders, customers, and public organizations. The intern will develop strong writing and communication skills while gaining firsthand experience in coordination meetings and stakeholder engagement. Their work will contribute directly to the advancement of Pulse corridors and the broader Pulse program, through the creation of materials designed for public outreach and stakeholder input. In addition, the intern will conduct field observations on buses, at stations, and across passenger facilities—capturing photos and recording data to inform future project strategies. For initiatives requiring collaboration with property owners, they will attend meetings and assist with status updates and records management. Finally, the intern will deepen their understanding of Pace’s role in regional and corridor long-range planning by working alongside the Rapid Transit team in its ongoing collaboration with the RTA and CMAP on key projects.
