About The Position

Harry Semrow Driving Range is now hiring a Seasonal Part-Time Range Attendant. This position is responsible for collecting golf balls from the driving range, maintaining a clean and organized practice area. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work independently, and enjoys working outdoors.

Requirements

Strong guest service skills.
Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
Ability to work well in fast paced environment.
Must have strong communication skills.
Must be dependable.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred.
Possesses basic math skills.
Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

Ensure the practice range is open and ready for players in the morning.
Replaces golf balls and clubs in racks for use by driving range patrons.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Ensure the clubhouse and practice range areas are kept orderly and clean, including restrooms and trash cans.
Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for golf operations.
Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
May perform small amount of mowing.
