You'll manage the safety activities and related deliverables, ensuring compliance with QCD commitments on the project(s)/program(s) you are appointed to. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (design, industrial, sourcing, validation etc.), coordinating safety contributors and much more."

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or other related engineering disciplines
Experience or understanding of safety methods and tools
Knowledge of safety hazard analysis, preferably applied to Railway products
Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer)
Familiarity with time management and reporting skills
Structured and organized with a Hands-on approach

Responsibilities

Performing the safety analyses as per the applicable safety instructions/processes and other specific requirements committed to the Customer.
Addressing Customer/Independent parties (ISA, NoBo, Debo,...) comments to get approval on the safety deliverables witin the limits of Alstom commitments.
Contributing to the assessment of the safety performance of the product and to the upstream identification of the necessary safety requirements to ensure the achievement of the safety targets.
Applying the Alstom/Engineering rules & processes to the activities in particular those dedicated to safety activities.
Having a pro-active challenging view on the safety data/results to enhance the adequacy/consistency of the safety studies and requirements.
Seeking the technical understanding of the Alstom products in order to better assess their safety performance and potential areas of improvement.
Adopting a product oriented mindset in performing their studies to foster the capitalisation of the results of the studies towards the product safety performance.
