This role sits within our Aviation & Gateway business division that provides facilities services for airlines and airports, including Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) assistance, porterage, cleaning, security and baggage screening services, aircraft secure cabin cleaning, security services and immigration presentation services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Aviation & Gateway market. About The Role: Location: EH12 9DN Days of Working: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30, on-site at the airport An exciting opportunity has arisen within the PRM Operation at Edinburgh Airport, at OCS our PRM Drivers are fully CPC qualified setting us apart from most major UK airports. We pride ourselves in the care and attention we give to all passengers that we assist onto aircraft and are looking for a Ramp Manager to head up this part of the operation.

Requirements

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Experience in fleet compliance and maintenance
  • Experience leading regulated team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask
  • High attention to details and confident decision making
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Disclosure Scotland / PVG required

Nice To Haves

  • NEBOSH - General Certificate
  • CPC Qualification

Responsibilities

  • Advise and support Drivers in carrying out daily vehicle checks, to manage Drivers with a CPC a Transport Manager CPC will be required
  • Monitor, mange and report on the Ambi-Lift and Minibus fleet on safety and compliance issues
  • Ensure the vehicles and equipment are up to date with LOLER certification and servicing
  • Ensure vehicles are up to date with Airside Passes
  • Check and maintain driver licences and CPC training records
  • Accident/Incident/Infringement Investigations
  • Creation and updating of RAMS
  • Liaise with Airport and other stakeholders to ensure vehicles are maintained and issues fixed in a timely manner
  • Ensure all Health & Safety regulations are maintained over whole operation
