Applications are being accepted to fill up to two temporary positions in St. Joseph, Missouri. Persons will be crew members for the Northwest Region Resource Assessment and Monitoring (RAM) sampling effort in Mozingo Creek Priority Watershed. Responsibilities include sampling warmwater stream sites located throughout the watershed, collecting and identifying fishes, collecting and recording water quality data, maintaining stream sampling equipment, and performing other duties as required. This position is expected to start about May 15, 2026 and end about September 15, 2026. Dates are flexible to meet school schedules. Applicants should be able to work 40 hours per week. Employment will not exceed 640 hours. Department benefits are not available for this position.
