About The Position

Position Overview: The RAISE Substance Use Treatment Specialist provides direct substance use counseling services to youth enrolled in the RAISE Program while supporting administrative and compliance functions within the RAISE program and the Specialized Treatment Programs Division necessary for program operations. The role includes maintaining an assigned caseload, conducting individual, group interventions and toxicology screenings, participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning, and supporting OASAS regulated processes. This position operates in alignment with OASAS standards and contributes to the therapeutic goals of the RAISE Program as well as supports other administrative tasks within the overall Specialized Treatment Program Division.

Requirements

• CASAC-T licensed and/or CASAC-T Eligible.
• Working towards completion of 6000 hours required for CASAC certification.
• At least 3 years of experience working with youth in residential or substance use treatment settings.
• Ability to manage both clinical responsibilities and administrative tracking systems.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Computer competent.
• Clear written communication skills.
