If you like working outdoors and not being stuck in one spot, it's a great fit." - Verified Track Team Member We are looking for a Skilled Equipment Operator with specific experience in railroad track maintenance for our team based out of Mulberry/Bone Valley. This is not an entry-level labor position. You will be responsible for operating specialized machinery and performing technical repairs across our regional project sites.

Requirements

  • Railroad Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of direct experience in Railroad Track Maintenance (MOW) is required.
  • Equipment Mastery: Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting (rail-specific equipment preferred).
  • Travel Readiness: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel 75% of the time as projects dictate.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfort working in the Florida climate and the ability to handle the physical demands of track-side work.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate specialized railroad maintenance equipment (such as regulators, tampers, or backhoes with rail attachments).
  • Execute track surfacing, tie replacement, and rail repair to exact specifications.
  • This role is project-based and involves 75% regional travel. We provide per diem and travel support for overnight stays.
  • Adhere to all FRA regulations and lead by example in a "Safety First" environment.
