About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Railroad Track Foreman to lead and support crews in the construction, maintenance, and repair of railroad track. This is a leadership role that combines hands-on work with crew supervision. Travel may be required up to 100%.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in the railroad industry
• Railroad track construction and maintenance experience required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Previous responsibility for safety and risk management in a railroad setting
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing conditions

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside track maintenance and construction crews to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Training, mentoring, and evaluating team members while maintaining compliance with FRA safety regulations.
• Managing material inventories
• Maintaining accurate reports
• Handling administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, documentation, and safety reporting.
• Operate loaders, specialty railroad equipment, and power tools, supporting both the leadership and hands-on aspects of the job.
