About The Position
Road & Rail Services is seeking a Railcar Prepper in Georgetown, KY. This is an on-site, physical outdoor role involving the preparation of railcars. Responsibilities include cleaning, inspecting for damage and fatigue, and ensuring railcars are ready for use. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or the ability to get one
- Valid state driver's license
- A love for teamwork and safety
- A sense of humor and a strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Open and close railcar end doors like a pro
- Inspect railcars for damage, fatigue, and anything suspicious
- Identify repairs that our team can tackle
- Climb ladders (16-20 feet high!) and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift
- Follow all safety procedures
