As a Railcar Mechanic, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining and repairing railcars to meet industry and safety standards. Your work directly supports safe rail operations and uninterrupted freight movement. This is a physical, skilled position well-suited for individuals with mechanical aptitude who enjoy working with tools and seeing tangible results from their efforts. Railcar Mechanics are actively engaged throughout their shift inspecting, repairing, and maintaining railcars. Typical duties include: No two days are exactly the same.
