Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent ability.
Strong commitment to safety in all aspects of the job.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a desire to grow and develop.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

Follow all industry, customer, and company safety regulations and operating procedures at all times.
Inspect, open, and close railcar end doors safely and accurately.
Examine railcars for signs of damage, wear, or fatigue, ensuring they meet required standards.
Identify any repairs that can be completed by Road & Rail Services personnel.
Remove debris, dirt, and other contaminants from railcars using backpack blowers, scrapers, and additional equipment to prevent potential vehicle damage.
Maintain responsibility for assigned tools and equipment, ensuring they are cleaned, stored, and in proper working condition.
Perform routine housekeeping and site cleanliness tasks as directed by management.
Support overall team operations by maintaining a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new tasks.
