STV currently has an opening in our Hartford, CT office for a Rail Transit Manager in our Transportation division. The Transit Manager will manage Rail Transit tasks and projects as needed. Tasks to include, but not limited to, planning, scope development, estimating, management and coordination of construction services and other activities as assigned on capital projects. Candidate should work independently with multi-discipline A&E disciplines with experience managing large programs. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing all tasks assigned and allocate them appropriately to the client’s satisfaction. In the role of Rail Transit Manager, we will count on you to: Take responsibility for all aspects of client and team management of Rail Projects including Rail Transit Facilities. Manage the assembly of plans, specifications and construction estimate packages. Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexity while planning and developing projects or designing activities that limit the impact on rail transit services. Be able to plan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of design, construction professionals and technicians. Serve as Project Coordinator on projects as needed; project coordination is not the sole focus of position. Serve as a high-level point of contact between the client and STV. Understand the contractual and operating environments as they relate to the NEC and commuter agencies in the entire Northeast. Don’t meet every single requirement?
