We are currently seeking a motivated and mechanically skilled Rail Service Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team in Kansas City, Kansas, where your hands-on expertise and adaptability will make a real impact. As a Rail Service Specialist, you’ll be responsible for both onsite work and extensive travel across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. In this role, you will unload rail from trains and perform essential rail service tasks. We will also teach you how to weld, and you’ll earn a company welding certification. This is a hands-on position where your basic mechanical aptitude will be crucial as you tackle various rail-related projects. Adaptability is key, as you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, often in varying weather conditions. Whether you're onsite or on the road, your role will be physically demanding-- requiring the ability to stand, walk, jump, and climb stairs while carrying materials weighing between 50 and 60 pounds.

Requirements

Travel is a core aspect of this job, with half of your time spent onsite and the other half traveling to different locations across the U.S. and occasionally to Mexico and Canada.
Candidates must be able to meet travel requirements and possess the flexibility to work in different settings.
Ability to stand, walk, jump, and climb stairs while carrying materials weighing between 50 and 60 pounds.
