Night Shift Rail Loadout Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate rail loadout systems to safely and accurately load materials. Inspect equipment and report any operational or safety issues. Maintain clean and organized work areas in and around loadout facilities. Communicate with team members and rail personnel to coordinate loading activities. Follow all safety procedures and adhere to company policies at all times.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and safely operate industrial equipment and related systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling tasks.
- Capability to remain focused and productive in dynamic or changing environments.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and perform tasks at heights for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to safely navigate uneven ground and industrial work areas.
