About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing all routine radiographic procedures in the main department and all satellite areas.

Requirements

• Graduate of American Medical Association approved two (2) year program for Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as Staff Radiology Technologist; comparable hospital setting -- preferred.
• Current New York State Licensed in Radiologic Technology
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic equipment in use with the department and satellite areas.
• Knowledge of Radiology drugs, i.e. contrast media, bowel preps, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
• Time Management Skills
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Nice To Haves

• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist -- Preferred
