About The Position

TOPS Specialty Surgical Hospital is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Per-Diem Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a leading specialty surgical hospital, we provide exceptional outpatient surgical care, and we’re seeking a dedicated Radiology Tech to support our imaging and diagnostic needs. Radiology Tech at TOPS Specialty Surgical Hospital The Radiology Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and safety protocols to ensure optimal imaging results and patient care.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
ARRT (R) certification required.
Active Radiologic Technologist license in Texas.
BLS certification required.
Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, positioning, and imaging safety.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a surgical and outpatient setting.
Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a surgical setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following physician orders and established protocols.
Ensure proper patient positioning, technique, and radiation safety measures.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Operate and maintain radiology equipment, reporting any issues as needed.
Work collaboratively with surgical teams and healthcare providers to support patient care.
Follow all infection control and patient safety procedures.
