Radiology Technologist (Full Time / Eves)
About The Position
Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay range: - Hourly $41.11 - $66.60 Eligible for $5,000 sign on bonus! In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic exams utilizing fixed diagnostic radiology equipment and portable x-ray and fluoroscopic equipment on patients across multiple units (inpatient, emergency, surgery, SPU and pain management. Our Radiology Technologists are a role model and resource to many in the hospital. Portions of your work require you to both with work as a member of a team and independently. A radiology technologist may be scheduled for standby on a rotational or seniority basis for after-hours and holiday coverage to meet the needs of the department. Full Time / Evening Shift 5x8 hour shifts
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate degree from an accredited radiology program required. Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
- Must be ARRT registry eligible upon hire and have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program AND registered with the State of Washington as an X-Ray Technician (XT).
- Acquire ARRT within 6 months of employment as a Radiologic Technologist I required.
- Annual renewal of ARRT required by Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
- Upon obtaining ARRT, Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required within a three-month period.
- Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
- Healthcare Provider level CPR required upon hire
- COVID-19 vaccination requirement: After October 18, 2021 all Washington state healthcare employees, contractors and volunteers will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment. You must provide this proof before your first day of employment with Overlake. Please remember to bring your COVID-19 immunization card to your pre-hire health screening with our Employee Health team.
