UPMC Presbyterian is seeking a flexible Full-Time Diagnostic Technologist to join our Radiology team! This role offers a varied schedule that includes all shifts, every other weekend, and some holidays—perfect for those who enjoy a dynamic work environment. Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.
  • Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified.
  • ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date.
  • CPR or BLS Required.
  • CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiography procedures independently and in accordance with established protocols.
  • Review patient histories and physician orders to ensure accurate imaging and optimal data acquisition.
  • Administer oral and rectal contrast following physician orders and department policy.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment to acquire, analyze, and document high-quality images.
  • Maintain accurate exam tracking and documentation in the RIS and ISITE systems.
