UPMC Presbyterian is hiring a full-time Diagnostic Technologist to join our Radiology team! This flexible role offers a varied schedule—including all shifts, every other weekend, and some holidays—and the opportunity to rotate across multiple sites such as UPMC Presbyterian, Montefiore, Falk, and the Pain Clinic. We welcome new graduates and provide hands-on training to help you grow your career in a leading academic medical center. Final job title and level will be determined based on education, experience, and manager discretion at the time of offer.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of the program and scheduled graduation date.
• Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified.
• ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date.
• CPR or BLS Required
• ARRT Certificate
• Act 34

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures using established protocols and independent judgment.
• Review patient histories, verify physician orders, and ensure proper documentation.
• Administer oral and rectal contrast as directed by policy.
• Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment for accurate data acquisition.
• Ensure exams are properly coded, tracked, and archived within system protocols.
