About The Position
What you will be doing: Radiology Technologist Perform imaging examinations according to physicians' orders. Utilize a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment. Consider individual patient's unique and/or age-related needs. Use clinical knowledge and judgment regarding proper positioning factors. Calibrate radiation dose technique and patient treatment to produce optimal high-quality images. Ensure all examinations are conducted with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.
Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- New graduates must have an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
