About The Position
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing all routine radiographic procedures in the main department and all satellite areas.
Requirements
- Graduate of American Medical Association approved two (2) year program for Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as Staff Radiology Technologist; comparable hospital setting -- preferred.
- Current New York State Licensed in Radiologic Technology
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic equipment in use with the department and satellite areas.
- Knowledge of Radiology drugs, i.e. contrast media, bowel preps, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
- Time Management Skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
Nice To Haves
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists -- Preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as Staff Radiology Technologist; comparable hospital setting -- preferred.
