About The Position
BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Part-Time Radiology Technologist (Weekends) for Christian Hospital (11133 Dunn Rd., St. Louis, MO) $2,500 Automatic Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates!!! Position Details: Weekend 3 day shifts per week!!! Day & Evening Shift Hours: Friday (11am-7pm) & Saturday, & Sunday (7:30am to 3:30pm) Additional Pay: Differential for evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, increasing hourly wages Part-Time (24 hours per week) - benefits eligible Radiologic / Radiology Technologist Christian Hospital has been serving St. Louis and the surrounding metro areas since 1903. Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. The Radiology Department at NWHC, provides out-patient and emergency services. Radiology is equipped with DR & PAC's technology. Our patients range from infant to late adulthood. Digital mammography performs screening, diagnostic & diagnostic follow up services. Diagnostic Radiology offers same day service. The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- Radiology Technologist - Reg
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
