About The Position

Wee Care Pediatrics is currently hiring for a Radiology Technologist (or Radiology Practical Technician) to work in their Layton clinic . Weekend Position: Saturday and Sunday 1pm-8pm Weekday position: Monday - Friday 5pm-10pm Job Description: As a Radiology Technologist/Radiology Practical Technician you will be responsible to perform all approved x-ray procedures and complete necessary documentation in a very busy pediatric clinic. You will work with children of all ages and must possess a special set of patient-interaction skills. Day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Performs diagnostic medical x-rays and routes to provider/radiologist for review. Documents x-rays taken for each patient. Contact patients/parents with x-ray results. Performs and documents daily quality control and instrument cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements

• Must have a current Radiology Technologist License or Radiology Practical Technician license in the State of Utah.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member within a very busy clinic.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
• Knowledge of universal precaution procedures in medical safety practices.

Nice To Haves

• One year of pediatric experience strongly desired.
