Radiology Technologist/Clinical Assistant
About The Position
Performs technical aspects of radiography that ultimately lead topleted radiographic procedures withplete clinical history. Operates radiological equipment in a filmless environment, administering medical x-rays on injured and/or sick patients as directed by physicians following accepted procedures and policies. Checks the technical aspects of radiographs to determine the exactness of position and technique, assists radiologists as needed, prepares study for interpretation, and provides quality patient care. Assists in the day-to-day operations of The Urgent Care/ crossed trained as a Clinical Assistant.
Requirements
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified by the state of Texas, Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification thru the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of hospital experience is preferred but not required
