This position provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging, including fluoroscopy, for all age groups under the general direction of a physician, ensuring ALARA principles are met. The role also involves participating in department quality improvement processes to maintain high customer satisfaction. Depending on departmental business needs, the technologist will support patient workflow through duties such as front desk tasks, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, and patient intake, as assigned and within their scope of practice.

Requirements

  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
  • ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography certification.
  • Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT Radiography certified or eligible.
  • Change agility and flexibility.
  • Less than 1 year of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Six month experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a variety of quality radiographic imaging, including fluoroscopy, on all age groups served by the entity, ensuring the principles of ALARA are achieved, under the general direction of a physician.
  • Participate in the department quality improvement processes, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Support department’s patient workflow such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient in-take, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice, depending on departmental business needs.
